Toddler's Activities

I'm busy coming up with a list of activities for JD.

On the top of the list is of course, Museo Pambata. I hope JD will be mentally stimulated when she sees the exhibits...Mental stimulation is, of course, a consideration second to having fun... I also hope she squeals in delight when she sees the giant human internal organs hehe..

Yup, she enjoyed her day indeed! She was scared of the internal organs, especially the "body sounds", though. Who would not be terrified of the sneezing nose and the farting butt, anyway?

I also plan to bring the animal-lover tyke to Manila Zoo to see some animals up close and personal. Although she regularly sees dogs, cats, lizards and birds at our neighborhood, she only gets to see tigers, lions and ostriches on Animal Planet... I really wish for us to go to the province to see some cows and pigs hehe. She would be delighted, I'm sure...

Manila Zoo has to wait. The toddler's pedia put her foot down when I told her about my zoo plan...According to the doc, JD might caught the virus that causes measles. She instead suggested that the Tagaytay Zoo is safer...Avilon Zoo, maybe? Hmm, calling the attention of the Manila Zoo caretakers!

Powerbooks is also on our agenda for the summer...She's a bookworm; she loves pointing to the pictures and "reading" the texts. I'm glad she got that trait from me, no offense honey hehe.

JD, I think, has this idea that Powerbooks is the extension of our house hehe... She immediately runs toward the bookshelves once we're inside the bookstore. And, she grabs every Dora and Barney reading materials she sees...She's really turning out like moi...

I've heard Manila Orchidarium is a nice place for kids so they would be nature-lover...The problem is, I don't know where the heck that is! hehe...

A couple of months had passed and, I'm still in the dark...

Jollibee ahh the bug would get a visit from us definitely...We've been there more than a couple of times already, since the beginning of my school break. My princess is one of the million kids who adores the red-and-white-stripes-wearing bug...

Jollibee, the store is our kitchen; Jollibee, the mascot is JD's friend! Do I need to say more?

JD already tried the rides in Timezone ATC. She was scared at first but, well that's expected from a toddler. Her "frightened" expression is funny, though. She shouted, " Mommy, mama, ate, yaya..." when she rode the motorbike.

We already went to SM Storyland and she had a blast! She, as usual, was scared of the moving rides. She's only afraid when the rides are in motion, though. She rode on the rides when it's not moving. Weird kid, hehe...

My additional activities/places for JD includes Island Cove in Cavite, I heard there's a mini-zoo/farm which has a fishpond; Zoobic and Ocean Adventure in Subic, Zoobic has younger animals than Manila Zoo and Ocean Adventure is comparable to Ocean Park (Hongkong) and Villa Escudero in Quezon Province, which has Filipiniana theme.

On hindsight, I think JD's companions (moi, her grandparents and her yaya) will enjoy her activities more than her, hehe :)
